Tekon IoT Platform updates - Release 12.1.0

New developments that improve user experience.

A new release of Tekon IoT Platform is available with updates that aim to improve user experience - ease widgets configuration and notify users on the platform - and show more information related to the subscription - datasource limit and license expiration.

Lets describe each development in detail.

• Clone widgets

To help optimize the setup of widgets for data visualization and save time in this process, the "Clone" option was created. This option allows users to create new widgets based on existing ones already in the dashboard. All the attributes of the existing widget are copied to the configuration window of the new one, except for the name.

• Datasource limit

Tekon IoT Platform subscription models are based on the number of datasources available in each instance. In the general settings of your directory, you can view the limit number of datasources that can be inserted. When the datasources limit is reached, the user is informed when he is configuring/duplicating a datasource.

• License expiration

As licenças da Tekon IoT Platform definem até quando a instância estará ativa e que será necessário renovar, se pretender continuar a usar a ferramenta. Para simplicar o controlo da caducidade da licença, a data limite estará disponível para consulta nas configurações gerais da instância.

Tekon IoT Platform licenses define how long the instance will be active and when it will need to be renewed, if you want to continue using the tool. To simplify the control of license expiration, the expiry date will be available for consultation in the general settings of the instance.

• Notifications icon

In the main menu of Tekon platform, it will be available an icon that signals the presence of notifications for the user. These notifications do not contain information about data collected by datasources. This notifications template is dedicated to communicating new releases or other instance-related information.

• Upload data with multiple timestamps

Data integration in Tekon IoT Platform can be done through APIs. The new release allows sending data with multiple timestamps in the same sending structure, reducing the number of requests between points.
